Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,522 VND/USD on February 11, up 35 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,748 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,296 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw increases.

At 8:39am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,210 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,570 VND/USD, both up 40 VND as compared with the February 10.

Meanwhile, BIDV also raised its both rates by 80 VND, listing at 25,210 VND/USD (buying) and 25,570 VND/USD (selling)./.
