Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,167 VND/USD on September 19, up 16 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,375 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,959 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw slight fluctuations.
At 8:23am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,460 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,800 VND/USD, both unchanged from September 18.
Meanwhile, BIDV cut both rates by 10 VND, posting the buying rate at 24,460 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,800 VND/USD./.
