Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,141 VND/USD on September 17, up 4 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,348 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,934 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw mixed developments.
Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,380 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,720 VND/USD, unchanged from September 16.
Meanwhile, BIDV raised both rates by 10 VND, posting the buying rate at 24,380 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,720 VND/USD./.
