Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,271 VND/USD on November 28, down 24 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,485 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,057 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw increases.
At 8:35 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,175 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,484 VND/USD, both down 25 VND from November 27.
Meanwhile, BIDV posted the buying rate at 25,184 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,484 VND/USD, down 16 VND and 25 VND, respectively./.
