Reference exchange rate up 3 VND on November 26

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,295 VND/USD on November 26, up 3 VND from November 25.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,295 VND/USD on November 26, up 3 VND from November 25.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,510 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,080 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates also saw slight increases.

At 8:38 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,200 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,509 VND/USD, both up 3 VND from the morning session of November 25.

Meanwhile, BIDV kept the buying rate unchanged at 25,200 VND/USD, and raised the selling rate by 3 VND to 25,509 VND/USD./.
