Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,175 VND/USD on October 11, up 3 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,384 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,966 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates differ.
At 8:27am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,670 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,030 VND/USD, both up 5 VND from October 10.
Meanwhile, BIDV posted the buying rate at 24,665 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,025 VND/USD, both down 5 VND./.
