Reference exchange rate up 12 VND

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,152 VND/USD on November 4, up 12 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,846 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,457 VND/USD.

The opening-hour rates at commercial banks saw decreases.

At 8:25am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,600 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,830 VND/USD, down 20 from November 3.

BIDV cut both rates by 15 VND to 22,630 VND/USD (buying) and 22,830 VND/USD (selling)./.
