Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,221 VND/USD on August 29, up 12 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,432 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,010 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates went up.
At 8:30 am, Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 24,690 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,030 VND/USD (selling), both up 30 VND from August 28./.
