Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted the daily reference exchange rate on October 3 up by another 2 VND to 22,718 VND/USD.
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,399 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,036 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks continued to stay stable compared to October 2.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV maintained the same rates as on the previous day, listing the buying rate at 23,290 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,370 VND/USD.
Techcombank also kept both rates unchanged from October 2, at 23,270 VND/USD (buying) and 23,370 VND/USD (selling).
This week, the State Bank adjusted the reference exchange rate down on Monday but raised the rate on the next two days.
The rates at commercial banks also went down on Monday and remained stable on the next two days. -VNA
