Thenews has been confirmed by Hoang Ngoc Bao, a representative of Vietnam’s General Consulate in Guangzhou , China on July 30 after hevisited the 23 Vietnamese fishermen who were accommodated on Hainanisland.

The fishermen were caught in the tropical storm Consonon July 18 and 19 and saved by a Chinese search and rescue team. Theyhave since then stayed in Sanya city, Hainan and are now in goodconditions.

Bao said the consulate general will work withrelevant agencies of China and Hainan to bring the fishermen back toVietnam by roadway, through Mong Cai border gate, Quang Ninhprovince./.

Rare green sea turtle released back into the wild in Quang Tri

The green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), locally known as vich, is a rare and protected species under Vietnamese law.
