Tuan noted that 2012 is an important milestone in bilateral relations as the two countries are celebrating the 20 th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
This is also a chance for the two sides to further boost their friendship, cooperation, mutual understanding and trust in the spirit of a strategic partnership, meeting the aspiration and interest of the two peoples as well as for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world at large, he said.
Tuan spoke highly of the cooperation between the two Defence Ministries over the past time, especially in holding deputy minister-level strategic defence dialogues, exchanging delegations and personnel training, thus strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two armies and the two peoples.
