Agreements to the effect were signed between the Finance Ministry and the RoK Export-Import Bank in Hanoi on August 17.
Theprojects include a 45 million USD general hospital in the northernmountainous Yen Bai province, and the provision of teaching equipmentfor two vocational training schools in the central provinces of HaTinh and Quang Binh, worth 3 million USD each.
The RoK is oneof Vietnam’s largest bilateral donors with many projects alreadycoming into operation. These include the Thien Tan 1 water supplyfactory in southern Dong Nai province, National Highway No.18 and asolid waste treatment and management system in Hai Phong city as well asthe production of five preventive vaccines.
The RoK hasrecently helped Vietnam develop infrastructure through constructionof the Hanoi-Hai Phong highway and Vinh Thinh bridge.
It also financed some of the country’s human resource development and health projects./.
