invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

During the two-day visit, Russian delegates and their host will discuss directions and specific measures to accelerate the implementation of high level agreements of cooperation between Vietnam and Russia in various areas, especially trade and economics, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Dung at a press briefing on July 23.
They will take stock of the implementation of the cooperation plan between the two ministries in 2009 and seek to agree on a new plan for 2010, the spokesman added.
They will discuss preparations for the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Russia , as well as international and regional issues of mutual concern with a view toward boosting the two countries’ joint efforts at international forums./.
