Scholarships to mix-blooded Vietnamese-Korean students

Sixty needy students of Vietnamese and Korean descent (third generation) in four central provinces have been presented scholarships to support their studies.

The scholarships, financed by Phu Yen Newspaper in coordination with VICORUS Co. Ltd in Ho Chi Minh City, included 50 grants worth 2 million VND (95 USD) each to school students and 10 others worth 4 million VND each to university students.

The awarded students come from the central provinces of Phu Yen, Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa, and the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.

On the occasion, VICORUS offered gifts worth 5 million VND to two families in difficult circumstance in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province.-VNA
