Singaporean Foreign Minister K Shanmugam’s two-day visit to Ukraine aims to reaffirm the growing relationship between the two countries, said the Southeast Asian country’s Foreign Ministry.
During the Singaporean Foreign Minister’s meetings with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the two sides expressed hopes to bolster bilateral cooperation as well as the exchange of viewpoints on regional development.
Singapore will share experience in anti-corruption and e-government with Ukraine through exchange programmes while the European country pledged the sharing of knowledge in nuclear safety.
Ukraine is the first stop in Minister Shanmugam’s tour of European countries, which is to include Italy and the Vatican.-VNA
