An art troupe from the Singaporean army led by Colonel Goh Beng Ngan Bercian has paid a visit to Vietnam.
At the reception for the delegation on September 10 in Hanoi , Lieutenant General Luong Cuong, Party Central Committee member and Vice Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnamese People’s Army, highly valued the cooperation between the two armies in a wide range of fields, including cultural activities and performances.
The delegation’s visit along with their performances will improve mutual understanding between the two armies, he said.
Both host and guest said they hoped that the troupe’s performances in Vietnam will be a huge spiritual gift celebrating the 40 th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
