Hanoi (VNA) - The Singaporeannaval ship RSS ENDEAVOUR with 90 officers and crew members on board anchored at Cam Ranh InternationalPort on January 23, beginning afive-day visit to in the south central province of Khanh Hoa.  

Representativesfrom the Foreign Relations Department under the Ministry of Defence, the NavalRegion 4 High Command, and the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs welcomedthe ship.

After the welcoming ceremony, the ship’sofficers paid courtesy visits to leaders of the provincial People’s Committeeand the Naval Region 4 High Command.

They are scheduled to join friendly exchange activitieswith young Vietnamese officers, and interesting places in Khanh Hoa.

The visit aims to contribute to strengthening cooperationbetween the naval forces of Vietnam and Singapore, thus fostering the strategicpartnership between the two countries.-VNA

Phu Tho: 200kg bomb safely relocated, detonated

According to a report by the Phu Tho Military Command, local residents spotted the bomb on August 31 in the Da River after the river water receded, exposing it beneath mud and soil on the riverbed. The bomb remained intact, including its fuse, and was located about 300m from a residential area.
