Soc Trang will host the Second Vietnam Rice Festival from Nov. 8-11
under the theme “Vietnamese rice in integration period”.

Soc Trang will host the Second Vietnam Rice Festival from Nov. 8-11
under the theme “Vietnamese rice in integration period”.
The festival, a large scale economic and cultural event, aims to
honour Vietnamese rice producers and traders, as well as scientists
who have contributed greatly rice production.
At the festival, various activities will take place including a parade of flower carriages, exhibitions and seminars.
The first Vietnam Rice Festival was held in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang from Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 in 2009./.
