An Giang (VNA) - K93 team of the Military High Command of An Giang received the third-class Feat of Arms Order by the President during a ceremony held in the Mekong Delta province on March 11.

The award is to honour the team’s contributions to the search and repatriation of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down their lives in Cambodia.

Since its establishment in November 2000, officers and soldiers of the team have searched for and repatriated more than 3,200 martyr remains.

Hailing the team’s accomplishments in the recent time, Political Commissar of the An Giang Military High Command Colonel Le Minh Quang called on its members to closely work together with relevant agencies of An Giang and Cambodia to fulfil their assigned tasks in the 2021-22 dry season, and maintain sound relations with Cambodian authorities, armed forces and people.
Members of the team with outstanding achievements in the 2013-20 period were also honoured at the ceremony./.
