The event until November 26 features fiveoutstanding works of the contemporary film industry of Spain, namely “Flamenco,Flamenco”, “Felices 140” (Happy 140), “María y los demás” (Maria and theothers), “Requisitos para ser una persona normal” (Requirements to be a normalperson), and “Un día vi 10.000 elefantes” (One day I saw 10,000 elephants).
Spanish Ambassador to Vietnam Maria Jesus Figasaid the films were produced in recent years and have won many Spanish andinternational awards.
Through these works, the audience can gain aninsight into not only the life, culture and people of Spain, but also thedeveloped film industry of her country, the diplomat noted.
The festival, organised by the Spanish Embassyin Vietnam and the Thua Thien-Hue provincial Department of Culture and Sports,is open for the public free of charge./.
