Stamp set on lighthouse issued

The Ministry of Information and Communications has recently issued a set of four postage stamps on the theme ‘Vietnamese lighthouses’, according to Nhan Dan Online.
The Ministry of Information and Communications has recently issued a setof four postage stamps on the theme ‘Vietnamese lighthouses’, accordingto Nhan Dan Online.

The stamps, designed by painters from theVietnam Post Corporation (VietnamPost), feature four Vietnamese typicallighthouses including Diem Dien, Ly Son, Dai Lanh and Ke Ga inThai Binh, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen and Binh Thuan provinces, respectively.

The four 32 x 43 mm stamps will be available in the post network until December 31, 2014.

This is the second set of postage stamps on lighthouses. The firstset, introducing lighthouses of Cu Lao Xanh in Quy Nhon city, Can Gio inHo Chi Minh City, Vung Tau in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and Long Chauin Hai Phong city, was issued in 1992.-VNA
