State budget collection reaches 10 bln USD in Q1
Budget revenues were estimated at 230.5 trillion VND (about 10 billion USD) in the first quarter of this year, up 0.3 percent year on year and meeting 22.7 percent of collection goals.

Meanwhile, budget spending was 277.59 trillion VND (about 12 billion USD) in the first quarter, up 5.4 percent from the same period last year and equivalent to 21.8 percent of the estimate for the year. Overspending stood at around 47 trillion VND, 18.5 percent of yearly estimates.
As of March 25, the MoF had mobilised nearly 69 trillion VND (about 3 billion USD) from Government bonds, accounting for 27 percent of the yearly target.-VNA
