A new cold air mass hit most northern provinces of Vietnam on Jan. 30, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.

As a result, the temperatures in the regions remain low, at under 13 degree C.

Northeastern winds blow strongly in the Gulf of Tonkin and offshore the central region.

The capital city of Hanoi on Feb. 1-2 will see light rain and scattered fog at night and early morning, with temperatures from 12 - 16 degrees C./.
