The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee discussed voters’ petitions and public concerns, the handling of complaints and denunciations, and preparations for the second session of the 16th NA at its seventh session on October 12.

The National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed a report on answers to voters’ suggestions, the results of citizen reception, and the settlement of citizens’ complaints and denunciations sent to the legislature in August during its ongoing third session in Hanoi on September 21.

Leaders of ministries, sectors and localities stressed the need to tackle the delayed settlement of complaints and denunciations and urgent matters at a national teleconference between the Government and localities on July 2.
