Around 350,000 Vietnamese are currently living, studying and working in the RoK, while some 200,000 Koreans are residing and working in Vietnam. Together with Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families, these communities have become natural bridges connecting the two peoples.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea (RoK) hosted a ceremony in Hanoi on September 28 evening to celebrate the 4,355th anniversary of the RoK's National Foundation Day (October 3).

The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organisations (HUFO) and the city’s Vietnam – Republic of Korea (RoK) Friendship Association on October 10 mounted a get-together to celebrate the 4,351st anniversary of the East Asian country’s National Foundation Day.
