Ru Cha islet is one of the only places in central Hue city that people can experience the autumn leaves of cha (excoecaria agallocha – a mangrove species) trees.
Construction of a centre for natural resources conservation and fauna and flora rescue has begun in Thua Thien-Hue, a central province with rich biodiversity.

Quang Loi Lagoon, about 30km in the north of Hue city, is part of the Tam Giang lagoon system. It covers almost 800ha in Quang Loi commune of Quang Dien district, central Thua Thien-Hue province.
The central coastal province of Thua Thien-Hue earned 2.66 trillion VND (114.38 million USD) from tourism in the first seven months of the year, a year-on-year surge of over 32 percent.
The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has given nod to the construction of a marine ecological tourist complex in Hai Duong commune, Huong Tra township.
