Techcombank wins FinanceAsia awards

The Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) has won top awards from the Hong Kong-based FinanceAsia magazine.
The Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank(Techcombank) has won top awards from the Hong Kong-based FinanceAsiamagazine.

The bank was given the titles “ Vietnam ’s Best Bank in2011”, “Best Cash Management Bank in Vietnam in 2011” and “Best TradeFinance Bank in Vietnam in 2011” and became the first Vietnamesebank to receive the three international awards of FinanceAsia.

Accordingto FinanceAsia magazine, Techcombank is one of the fastest growingcommercial banks in Vietnam . The bank has expanded its network byopening 94 new branches, increasing the total number of branches to300, and operating over 1,000 ATMs.

Techcombank nowserves more than 45,000 enterprises and 1.3 million individuals acrossthe country, an increase of 17 percent and 62 percent, respectivelycompared to the previous year.

The bank has beendeveloping strongly for two consecutive years, 2010 and 2011, and itaims to provide the best service to its customers. It has also beenrecognised as a prestigious trade name by both domestic and foreignorganisations./.
