On January 3, the delegation arrived in Da Lat island in the southernmost of the archipelago, 240 nautical miles from Cam Ranh.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quan, who is leading the delegation, affirmed that the Party, State and people nationwide always give special attention to soldiers stationed in remote islands in general and in Da Lat in particular.
Captain Truong Hong Phuong, head of Da Lat island, pledged that his staff will further strengthen solidarity, overcome difficulties to fulfil their assigned tasks to protect the country’s sea and islands sovereignty.-VNA
