Bangkok (VNA) - Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra on March 26 confirmed that a cabinet reshuffle was "not on the agenda" following her decisive victory in a no-confidence vote, where she secured overwhelming support from lawmakers in Parliament earlier the same day.

Speaking after winning the vote by 319 to 162 with seven abstentions, she said she had no plans to reshuffle the cabinet any time soon.

The coalition government is functioning smoothly, she said, adding that additional documents would be made available on social media platforms to clarify the information she presented during the censure debate.

In response to the debate, Paetongtarn stated that she and her ministers have addressed the opposition's concerns. She plans to release additional information on social media platforms to clarify points raised during the parliamentary discussions.

Opposition leader Natthaphong indicated that information from the debate would be submitted to independent bodies like the National Anti-Corruption Commission for further investigation.

Prime Minister Paetongtarn's victory in the no-confidence vote and her decision against a cabinet reshuffle signal her administration's confidence in its current composition and direction./.
