Thai PM initiates idea to build high-speed trains to tourist sites

The Prime Minister on February 12 said the high-speed train project from Bangkok to Pattaya or Hua Hin might be a joint venture in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Thai and foreign investors were both welcomed, said the premier.
Tracks of the high speed trains are expected to be constructed in parallel with the 1m or 1.453m tracks.-VNA
