Thai women get assistance abroad via online channel

The Thai Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has affirmed its One Stop Crisis Centre (OSCC)’s role in providing help to Thai women working and living aboard through the website www.yingthai.net.
The Thai Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has affirmed its One Stop Crisis Centre (OSCC)’s role in providing help to Thai women working and living aboard through the website www.yingthai.net.

According to Minister of Social Development and Human Security Pol.Gen. Adul Sangsingkeo, the ministry has established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with related government agencies on this issue.

He urged the OSCC call centre 1300 to coordinate its service with the www.yingthai.net website to reach maximum efficiency.

The website contains all necessary information for women about living with their partners abroad. It will also allow visitors to question and directly contact the Thai volunteer network.

The website has boasted a total of 5,000 visitors since its launch.-VNA
