Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The Thai-Cambodian General Border Committee (GBC) has commended the two countries’ close relations and agreed to avoid border trespass.
Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Gen.Prawit Wongsuwon and his Cambodian counterpart on March 21 presided over the 13th Thai-Cambodian Meeting hosted by Thailand.
The meeting followed up on the progress of the two countries’ cooperation in important border zones in terms of demarcation, labour, drug trafficking suppression and anti-terrorism.
The two parties also agreed to tighten their military ties and confirmed that they won't let a border dispute affect their good relations.
Thailand and Cambodia vowed to tackle any border conflict in a peaceful manner.-VNA
