Thai junta leader Prayuth Chan-ocha on June 27 said a general election will be held in October 2015, three months after an official constitution is promulgated.
In a televised speech, he said the drafting of a provisional constitution has been completed, and it will be issued this July.
After that date, the junta will set up an interim legislature and government in September this year, and a reform council one month later, he added.-VNA
