Thanh Hoa detains major drug trafficker

Police in Muong Lat district in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa on May 27 said they have arrested a smuggler of nearly 2,000 methamphetamine pills.

–Police in Muong Lat district in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa on May27 said they have arrested a smuggler of nearly 2,000 methamphetamine pills.

Ha Minh Duc, born in1991, residing in Quan Hoa town, was caught while trafficking the drugthrough Tao village, Trung Ly commune.

The police also seized amotorbike, a gun, and a knife.

Duc confessedthat he bought the drug from Laos to sell in Quan Hoa.

Furtherinvestigation is underway./.
