Thousand best wishes to Hanoi programme reviewed
The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Vietnam (HSBC) has
reviewed its “Thousand best wishes to Hanoi” programme and granted
100 scholarships worth 500 million VND to a fund of Tuoi Tre newspaper.

100 scholarships worth 500 million VND to a fund of Tuoi Tre newspaper.
The programme was launched on August 30 to collect a thousand best wishes to mark the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
A month after the launch, the programme had received thousands of best wishes nationwide. One thousand best wishes were selected to upload on website www.ngandieuuoc.com. Each wish shows the Vietnamese citizen’s desire for prosperity and development on the millennial birthday of the capital city. Along with the programme, for each chosen wish, HSBC donated 500,000 VND to Tuoi Tre newspaper’s fund. A total of 500 million VND was granted to 100 disadvantaged students in Hanoi./.
