Three more Covid-19 cases reported, total stands at 240

The Ministry of Health reported three more Covid-19 cases in Vietnam by 6pm April 4, raising the country’s total to 240.

The latest case is a 29-year-old woman residing in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.

She returned to Vietnam from Bangkok on March 20 and had been sent to quarantine zone in Ninh Binh province after her arrival.

The patient is under treatment at Ninh Binh general hospital.

The same day, five more COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from Cu Chi acute respiratory hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang Hospital, bringing the total number of patients given the all-clear in Vietnam to 90.

They included four Vietnamese nationals and a US citizen.

All the patients will continue to be quarantined and monitored for the next 14 days./.
