On the evening of March 23, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in collaboration with the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund and Vietnam Television, hosted the award ceremony for the Outstanding Young Vietnamese of 2024. From 159 nominations across 55 organisations nationwide, the award council selected 10 exceptional young individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in various fields, including academics, scientific research and innovation, labour and manufacturing, business and entrepreneurship, national defence, public security, sports, social work, and arts and culture.

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Pedro Sánchez is paying an official visit to Vietnam from April 8-10 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. According to the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, as of March 28, 2025, Vietnam had supported the removal of 168,027 temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide. They include 81,607 completed houses, and 86,420 under construction. Former President of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and former President of Laos Khamtay Siphandone, who passed away on April 2 at the age of 102, is one of the core leaders of the first generation of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. He is a patriot, a model revolutionary, and an outstanding leader of the Party and the Lao people. Throughout his life, General Khamtay Siphandone dedicated his intellect and strength to the revolutionary cause of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the development of the country, and the prosperity and happiness of the Lao people of all ethnicities.
During his overseas trip from April 2 to 8, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his spouse pay an official visit to the Republic of Armenia at the invitation of Armenian National Assembly Chairman Alen Simonyan. The official visit is a demonstration of Vietnam’s consistent policy of treasuring and promoting relations with the countries it has traditional friendship with, including Armenia.
