The Vietnam Book of Records organisation has announced the top 45 attractive destinations in Vietnam based on selections by travel agencies and tourists at home and abroad.
The list includes Top five ancient temples of literature marking the country’s age-old education, namely Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam in Hanoi, Xich Dang in northern Hung Yen province, Mao Dien in northern Hai Duong province, Van Thanh in central Thua Thien-Hue province, and Tran Bien in southern Dong Nai province.
Top 10 islands with natural beauty are Hoang Sa (Paracel) in central Da Nang city, Truong Sa (Spratly) in central Khanh Hoa province, Cat Ba and Bach Long Vi in northern Hai Phong city, Cu Lao Cham in central Quang Nam province, Ly Son in central Quang Ngai, Phu Quy in central Binh Thuan, Con Dao in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Phu Quoc in southern Kien Giang and Hon Khoai in southernmost Ca Mau.
Furthermore, the list also features the top 10 destinations for spiritual tourism, the top 10 sea tourism landscapes, the five ancient villages, and the top five markets with specific characteristics of the country’s three regions.-VNA
