Toyota provides training facilities with technical equipment

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) has provided technology training equipment to five universities and colleges in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as part of its Technical Education Programme (T-TEP).

Hanoi (VNA) – Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) has providedtechnology training equipment to five universities and colleges in Hanoi and HoChi Minh City as part of its Technical Education Programme (T-TEP).

A ceremony was held in Hanoi on March 20 to present the equipmentto the University of Transportation Technology and Hanoi University of Industryin Hanoi.

Meanwhile, similar events will be held in three others in HoChi Minh City to hand over the equipment to three other facilities in Ho ChiMinh City.

The gifts include three used car models of Corolla, Camryand Vios, four Toyota gearboxes, three car bodies and 15 car doors, aiming toimprove practical skills of trainees, along with T-TEP standardised manuals.

Do Thu Hoang, Deputy General Director of the firm, said thatthe T-TEP has been launched since 200 with an aim of supporting technicaltraining in Vietnam by improving the learning and practicing conditions fortrainees.

TMV is also willing to give occupational opportunities forthe trainees after their graduation, she added.

So far, TMV has introduced the T-TEP to five vocationaltraining centres of five technology universities and colleges across thecountry, which has benefited 2,400 students, 536 of whom has been accepted towork at TMV system in Vietnam.-VNA

In the central province of Quang Tri, an AI-powered “People’s Assistant” is being piloted from October 1 to 31 at the provincial Public Administration Service Centre and the centres of this kind in Dong Thuan and Dong Ha wards.
