Traditional attire - a cultural feature of Lo Lo people
Intricate costumes, from trousers, shirts to scarves and hats, are made of brocade fabrics by skilled residents and artisans of ethnic group Lo Lo in Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province. The exceptionally unique products are rich in the traditional culture of the ethnic group.

Among the factors making the culture of the Black Lo Lo ethnic minority in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province unique and distinctive are their traditional costumes and the costumes’ decorations.
At the foot of Lung Cu National Flag Tower, the country’s north pole in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, there is a miraculous village, which is often depicted in legends. Its name is Lo Lo Chai.
A ritual held by the Lo Lo ethnic minority group to pray for rain was a highlight of the Phong Luu Khau Vai Market 2022, which was held recently in Khau Vai commune in Meo Vac district, northern mountainous Ha Giang province.
The ancestor worshipping ritual of the Lo Lo ethnic people has existed for a long period of time. It is a beautiful custom, rich in cultural identity and with traditional educational properties for all generations. Like many other ethnic groups, the Lo Lo people believe that everything has a soul and have faith in connections between the living and the dead with the same bloodline.
