Training course on HIV/AIDS held for kindergarteners
The National Fund for Vietnamese Children held a two-day training course on
measures to prevent and combat against HIV/AIDS for 39 kindergarteners who are
working at Centres for Social Support in 21 cities and provinces
nationwide.

The course took place on Dec. 15-16 and was initiated and funded by a US donor, Susan Clark.
The course provided basic knowledge and treatment with children infected with HIV/AIDS; techniques to prevent the disease contraction, available vaccinations, and ARV medicine treatment procedures.
The course also created an opportunity for the trainees to discuss issues related to HIV/AIDS with medical experts from the Ministry of Health and the Central Children Hopital.
Trainees also took a field trip to the Centre for Education and Social Labour No 2 in Hanoi to call on 53 HIV infectious children who are brought up and treated in the centre./.
