Vietnamese businessman Do Van Kien, 29, was born in Yen Nhan commune, Yen Mo district in the northern province of Ninh Binh.
The two local suspects, who were born in 1990 and 1991, once came to Kien’s house on Maghistralnaya Street to fix his Internet connection. On April 4, they knocked at the door, assaulted Kien’s wife when she answered and proceeded to stab Kien to death.
Hearing his cries for help, a neighbour rushed into Kien’s house, called the police and helped to rush Kien’s wife, who is pregnant, to hospital. Luckily, the baby was not hurt.
The police have initiated legal proceeding against the two suspects and if they are found guilty they could be sentenced to 20 years to life in prison./.
