UK-based VN businesses raise fund for needy kids

The Association of Vietnamese Businesses in the UK raised 4,750 GBP and 1,000 EUR from an amateur golf tournament for children with congenital heart diseases in Vietnam.
The Association of Vietnamese Businesses in the UK raised 4,750 GBP and 1,000 EUR from an amateur golf tournament for children with congenital heart diseases in Vietnam.

The money will be channeled to the charitable programme “A heart for you”, which was tailored to help kids with congenital heart diseases, especially from poor families, get free surgery to fix the hearts.

The golf tournament, called “Hainault Challenge Trophy”, drew 72 players from the UK , Hungary and the Netherlands , including overseas Vietnamese./.
