Hanoi (VNA) – International travel will be made easier for customers of the low-cost carrier Vietjet Air after the airline decided to sell 250,000 promotional tickets starting from 0 VND to welcome its new route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) slated for June 1.

The promotional programme is applied to the carrier’s international flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur, Seoul (the Republic of Korea), Taipei (China), Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand) and Yangon (Myanmar).

Travel time available for the HCM City-Kuala Lumpur route is from June 1 to December 31, with other international routes valid from March 31 to December 31.

Promotional tickets can be purchased on March 16,17 and 18 at the website www.vietjetair.com and also on smartphones at https://m.vietjetair.com or at www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam.

According to Vietjet Air, the daily HCM City-Kuala Lumpur flight will take one hour and 55 minutes. Flights depart in HCM City at 9:30am and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 12:25 pm (local time). Return flights take off from Kuala Lumpur at 1:00pm (local time) and land in HCM City at 1:55 pm.

Vietjet is the first airline in Vietnam to operate as a new-age airline with low-cost and diversified services to meet customers’ demands.

Currently, the airline boasts a fleet of 35 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates 250 flights each day. It has already opened 47 routes in Vietnam and across the region to international destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China and Myanmar. It has carried nearly 20 million passengers to date.-VNA
