Vietjet to operate up to 99 weekly flights

Vietjet Air will increase the flight frequency of numerous routes to 99 flights per week from October 27, with an aim of offering more travel options between Vietnam and major Northeast Asian cities.

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietjet Air will increase the flight frequency of numerous routes to 99 flights per week from October 27, with an aim of offering more travel options between Vietnam and major Northeast Asian cities.

Specifically, both the Ho Chi Minh City – Taipei and Hanoi – Taipei routes will each operate 2 flights per day, up from one currently. Meanwhile, Vietjet will also increase the flight frequency on each of the routes connecting Vietnam with Taichung and Kaohsiung to 7 times per week.

The additional flight departs from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) at 1:00 am and lands at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Taipei, Taiwan, China) at 5:25 am (local time). The return flight departs at 6:25 am and lands at 8:50 am (local time). The new flight from Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) departs at 7:35 am and arrives at Taoyuan International Airport at 11:10 am (local time). The return flight departs at 12:00 pm and lands at 2:10 pm (local time).

Additionally, Hong Kong (China) will also see more flight options from Vietjet. The services connecting Phu Quoc and Da Nang to Hong Kong (China) will increase to 7 flights per week.

As one of the airlines with the most routes between Vietnam and Taiwan (China), Vietjet currently operates 9 routes with 81 round-trip flights per week. For Hong Kong (China), it operates 3 routes with 18 round-trip flights per week.
