The two new aircraft will help VietJetAir schedule 1,600 flights over the summer. The airline plans to expand its domestic network and add more international routes later this year.
The carrier has also inked a deal with Airbus to utilise the company’s “Sharklet” technology - a special wingtip device that allows the new Airbus A320 to fly faster and save on fuel costs.-VNA
