Vietnam Airlines, FPT sign cooperation agreement

Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrierVietnam Airlines and FPT Corporation signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreementin Hanoi on May 25.

Under the deal, which is effective from this year until 2020, thecarrier having four-star international service standard will supply itstransport service for passengers, luggage and goods, and other trade services,as required by FPT. The firm will give preferential trade status to FPT as oneof its big customers.

Meanwhile, FPT will provide Vietnam Airlines with its best technologicalsolutions, products and services following the carrier’s requirements, such asmobile devices, website development, e-commerce, cloud computing, security, bigdata, hosting/data centre, internet service and the appliance for enterpriseresource planning.

The two sides will cooperate in research and investment in the development ofproducts and services on the basis of shared investment capital, revenue,expenditure and copyright.

In 2013, Vietnam Airlines and FPT inked a bilateral cooperation agreement onsupplying their best services to each other in three years. They havegained good results from this agreement.-VNA
