Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines will adjust schedules for flights from/to Narita International Airport in Tokyo on September 9 morning due to typhoon Faxai in the Japanese area.
The national flag carrier will delay the departure time from 2 - 3 hours and 25 minutes of flights from Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo, coded VN310, VN311, VN318, VN319, VN300, and VN301.
Passengers on the aforesaid flights will be assisted to convert to other flights on the same itinerary if they require.

According to Japan Meteorological Agency, Typhoon Faxai with winds of velocity up to 216km per hour is heading directly into Tokyo. It is forecast to hit coastal areas near Tokyo from September 8 to 9.-VNA
