Vietnamese athletes left for
Indonesia on October 21 to attend the Asian Petanque Championship,
which will start on October 24.

They will compete in shooting, men’s and women’s triple categories.
At the 16th Asian Petanque Championship held in Hanoi last
December, Vietnam finished as runner-up with two gold, four silver
and four bronze medals.
During the tournament, the
Asia Petanque and Sports Boules Confederation will hold a meeting to
elect the executive committee for the 2013 – 2016 tenure.-VNA
