Algiers (VNA) – Representativesof the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria joined an international workshop on friendsof Algeria’s revolution on May 17 -18 in Algiers.  

Jointly organised by the Ministry of War Veterans and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Committee of Algeriansabroad, the event gathered hundreds of delegates from the Algerian government, historicalwitnesses of the Algerian revolution of various nationalities, and foreignresearchers.

Vietnam was one of the first countries to recognise the provisional governmentof Algeria (September 26, 1958), four years before the North African country actually gained independence.

Participants discussed topics related to human values, the charters of theAlgerian revolution and its role in strengthening relations with countriesaround the world.

On the sidelines of the event, exhibitions are being arranged to introducehistorical books and photos on friends of the Algerian revolution./.

Thailand offers new incentives to support SMEs

One key measure to support Thai entrepreneurs is an increase in the corporate income tax (CIT) benefits granted to BOI-promoted SMEs, which will now receive a five-year CIT exemption equal to as much as 100% of their investment in enhancing their capabilities and improvements, up from the previous three-year CIT exemption capped at 50% of investment.
